Annual Reports

  • In 2022, HomeAid National Capital Region completed four projects for nonprofit organizations throughout the region. Thanks to the generosity of our Builder Captains and Trade Partners, we were able to cover 78% of the cost for these projects. These savings have enabled our partners to redirect critical funding into housing, financial education, job skills training, and other critical programs that help individuals and families move out of crisis and toward self-sufficiency. Nearly $.90 of every dollar we receive is mission-focused and supports the renovation and build projects we complete.

In addition to our construction projects, HomeAid supplements the work of our partner organizations in various ways—collecting grocery store gift cards, diapers for families and single mothers in need, and household essentials to help people moving into their own housing get started.
