HomeAid is built on collaboration. We are honored to be at the center of a huge network of builders, trade partners, shelters, companies, foundations, and individuals who have all come together to work towards a shared mission: building new lives for those experiencing homeless in D.C., Maryland, and Virginia. Thank you to all of our HomeAid partners who make our work possible.
Trade Partners generously provide the labor/materials to get projects done.
Corporate & Foundation Donors provide the financial resources we need to fulfill our mission.
Non-Profit Partners do the hard work each day to improve the lives of the homeless in our region.
The Presidents’ Award, presented to an individual, a company or an organization that has shown exceptional dedication to the goal of ending homelessness with service to HomeAid, is the organization’s highest honor.
The 2022 Presidents' award is presented to Jason R. McDonough. This award is presented to an individual, company or organization that has shown exceptional dedication to rebuilding lives for those experiencing homelessness through service to HomeAid National Capital Region. Jason joined the Homeaid board of directors in 2014 and has been a stable source of support personally and through John Marshall Bank. In 2019 he served as Homeaid's Board President and has chaired the governance committee for the last two years. He also serves on the Golf Tournament and Builders & Friends BBQ committees, helping to raise tens of thousands of dollars for Homeaid's mission. Most recently, he led the charge in helping to organize and facilitate Homeaid's strategic plan working with a consultant to bring staff and board members together to create goals and develop a plan to achieve them. this ultimately led us in the direction of officially expanding our service area and changing our name to Homeaid National Capital Region. Jason truly champions Homeaid's mission, and we are sincerely grateful for his dedication and passion.
