In addition to our building and remodeling projects, HomeAid reaches out to meet the immediate needs of our regions families and individuals experiencing homelessness and the nonprofits that assist them through our other programs.
Are you great at organizing in a small space? Can you show someone the basics of cooking or healthy eating? Could you teach yoga or take a great family photo? Do you have other skills or special talents that you would be willing to share with a small group of clients experiencing homelessness seeking to better their circumstance and become productive citizens in our community? If so, HomeAid can match you with one of our shelter partners interested in having you share your skills with others. We are seeking a multitude of skills and interests so please let us know how you would like to participate.
Our team of committed volunteers ensures the success of our largest annual event, our Annual Gala & Auction! Gala Committee members are involved in planning the event and bringing the theme to life through decor, entertainment, and set-up. They also assist with raffle and auction procurement, as well as registration.
