HomeAid National Capital Region helps the homebuilding industry and nonprofit organizations come together to address the need of building and renovating facilities in a way that is efficient and effective for all involved. There are many ways you can be a part of the solution, and we hope you’ll join us in building new lives for those experiencing or at risk of experiencing homelessness in D.C., Maryland, and Virginia.
Your generous donation helps break the cycle of homelessness by providing funds to build and renovate nonprofits where life changing programs are benefiting individuals and families in our region. Research shows that stable housing improves health, increases children’s educational achievement, and strengthens community ties. Read our Annual Report to find out how HomeAid makes a difference by building what matters most.

In addition to our building and remodeling projects, HomeAid reaches out to meet the immediate needs of our regions families and individuals experiencing homelessness and the nonprofits that assist them through our Community Engagement programs.
Directly donating to HomeAid, sponsoring a HomeAid event, and volunteering aren’t the only ways you can give to HomeAid to make a difference. By hosting a third-party event, you can raise funds for our organization in a number of ways—and just as importantly spread awareness about HomeAid’s mission to your friends, coworkers, or others in your network!
