Women Giving Back (WGB) outdid itself again, more than doubling its fundraising totals at this year’s Cinco de Mayo event, raising more than $70,000—a 62 percent increase over last year’s $31,000. The guest list also doubled, with more than 200 guests enjoying a fun night of dancing, dining and relaxing under the big tent. Many also toured the WGB Store to see for themselves what it takes to distribute thousands of items of clothing and accessories every month to women and children who live in Northern Virginia homeless shelters.
