HomeAid Northern Virginia is seeking two Builder Captains for projects in Old Town Alexandria and in Leesburg/Loudoun County. As with most projects, the Builder Captain will provide project leadership; help organize in-kind donation assistance from trade partners; and leverage their assets, knowledge and contacts to help in the completion of the projects.
Both projects have been pre-screened by HomeAid Northern Virginia’s Board of Directors, and the scope of work and project expectations are well documented.
“Being a Builder Captain is a great opportunity to say ‘thank you’ to the community that has made you successful,” said John Monacci, HomeAid Northern Virginia’s board president and senior vice president of operations for Winchester Homes. “It will help you build teamwork amongst your employees and give them a focus for rallying together toward a good cause, and it will bring you closer together with your trade partners, as you work in unison with them on a common project. Lastly, it will demonstrate in no uncertain terms that you’re serious about paying it forward.”
For more information about these projects, or if you’re interested in serving as a Builder Captain in other locations, please contact Christy Eaton, HomeAid Northern Virginia executive director, at 571.283.6320 or at ceaton@nvbia.com. More information is also available here.
