For almost as long as HomeAid has worked in Northern Virginia building and renovating facilities for the homeless, Titan Erosion Control has volunteered as a trade partner. The company, which specializes in excavation, erosion control, landscaping and grading for new builds, also provides demolition and debris removal for renovation projects.
“Titan is always willing to help without hesitation, no matter the situation or circumstance,” said Scott Alford, vice president of production for Miller & Smith, which served as the Builder Captain for the Homestretch project. “[President and Owner] Billy Russell is genuine and down to earth, and he understands how his contribution helps the community as a whole, families, and individuals. He and his company are making a difference.”
“I’ve been involved with HomeAid for the 10 years since I founded Titan,” Russell said. “I really enjoy doing it, and I like being able to help these families so directly. There are so many people living in unfortunate circumstances, and this is my way of giving back. All the other trades give just as much as I do, whether it’s painting or drywall or electrical … it’s our way of helping and giving back.”
Titan Erosion, founded in 2004, is based in Manassas, Va. For more information, please call 703.530.8881 or contact Billy Russell.
