    Work Performed:

This renovation project transformed a single-family home into a more spacious and functional sanctuary, expanding its capacity to better serve Veterans transitioning out of homelessness. The number of bedrooms was increased from 3 to 5, and the bathrooms were expanded from 2.5 to 4.5, ensuring that each resident has the privacy and comfort they deserve.

In the basement, a kitchenette and egress were added, including a walk-out to create a private and welcoming space that offers both independence and community. The thoughtful design maximized the home’s layout, ensuring that each area is both efficient and adaptable to the needs of its new residents.

Throughout the home, every detail was considered: old flooring was replaced with fresh, durable materials; walls were freshly painted to create a bright, inviting atmosphere; and appliances were upgraded to provide modern conveniences. A careful mix of demolition and new construction was carried out to optimize the flow of the home and maximize its potential.

This project not only increased the home’s physical capacity but also its ability to serve those who need it most—Veterans beginning their journey toward stability and self-sufficiency. The end result is a space that is not only functional but inspiring, offering a fresh start and a dignified place to call home.
