This project will renovate an existing 833-square-foot condominium unit to provide safe and supportive transitional housing for families experiencing homelessness. Planned improvements include replacing a broken sliding glass door, installing new luxury vinyl plank flooring and fresh paint throughout the unit, adding new blinds, upgrading the kitchen and bathroom, and repairing or replacing damaged interior doors. Major building systems will be inspected and repaired as needed to ensure the home is safe, functional, and move-in ready for future residents.
Homestretch empowers families experiencing homelessness in Virginia to attain permanent housing and self-sufficiency by providing the skills, knowledge, and hope they need to become productive participants in the community.
