HomeAid Northern Virginia partnered with Arcadia Communities and 12 Trade Partners to renovate a Reston townhome for Cornerstones, an organization that provides housing for people who are homeless in the local area. In collaboration with dedicated subcontractors, Arcadia managed the entire $32,700 project from start to finish.
The renovation was 100% donated – including all materials, products and services needed to make the townhome feel like new for a Cornerstones’ family. Arcadia and the trade partners worked tirelessly to renovate the unit by providing professional, specialized services including replaced carpeting; a new water heater and electrical outlets; updates to the kitchen, bedroom, bathrooms and stairs; and improvements to the exterior of the home.
