Homebuilders to Celebrate Their Efforts to End Homelessness

Who: HomeAid Northern Virginia, an organization that leverages the resources of the homebuilding community and its corporate partners to undertake new construction and major renovations to properties that help homeless people gain stability and get back on the road to self-sufficiency.
What: 6th Annual Builders and Friends BBQ
Where: The Barn at One Loudoun, 20405 Savin Hill Drive, Ashburn, VA 20147
When: Thursday, June 25, 2015, 4:00 – 7:00 pm
Why: Each year, HomeAid brings together more than 200 of the area’s top homebuilders (including Stanley Martin Homes, Augustine Homes, Drees Homes and others) plus trade partners to celebrate the work they have done to help end homelessness in Northern Virginia. The event also thanks project participants for their work and the 2015 Trade partner of the Year will be announced.
HomeAid has already completed four projects this year and has 10 more planned.

About HomeAid Northern Virginia
HomeAid Northern Virginia, a chapter of HomeAid America, leverages the resources of the homebuilding community and its corporate partners to undertake new construction and major renovations to properties owned by homelessness service providers that help homeless people gain stability and get back on the road to self-sufficiency.
The organization was started in 2001 by members of the Northern Virginia Building Industry Association (NVBIA), and since then, has completed 97 projects valued at more than $12.6 million, serving more than 72,575 homeless individuals.
