HomeAid Names Mid South Building Supply Trade Partner of the Year

June 14, 2012 — HomeAid Northern Virginia, which builds and renovates homeless shelters, transitional houses, food banks, medical clinics, counseling centers, and other facilities that help homeless families and individuals, announced that Mid South Building Supply has won its Trade Partner of the Year Award.

The Trade Partner of the Year Award is presented to a vendor, trade partner or industry partner who has gone above and beyond in their service to HomeAid.

“Mid South Building Supply has consistently been a dedicated company that comes to the rescue year after year for HomeAid projects,” said Michael J. Scheurer, HomeAid Northern Virginia President and Northern Virginia Community Outreach Officer for the Virginia Housing Development Authority. “They work with many of our member builders and we are truly thrilled to have this chance to honor them as our Trade Partner of the Year.”

“It is an honor to receive HomeAid’s 2012 Trade Partner of the Year Award,” said Jim Rowland, executive vice president, Mid South Building Supply, Inc. “Being a 100% employee-owned company, we have been very fortunate for over 40 years to receive the benefits that the Washington market has to offer. We recognize that homelessness is a very serious problem, and want to do our part to provide shelter and to help the homeless plan for their future.”
