Chantilly, VA – December 17, 2019 – More than 30,000 diapers and 30,000 baby wipes were distributed to 18 homeless shelters and supportive housing facilities throughout Northern Virginia this week, as part of HomeAid Northern Virginia’s “Builders for Babies” diaper drive.
HomeAid Northern Virginia (HANV) builds and renovates homeless shelters and supportive housing facilities via the donated expertise, labor and resources of local homebuilders – enabling organizations to focus their budgets and resources on supportive programs and services rather than building expenses. Sixteen of HANV’s building partners hosted diaper drive collections to assist families in shelters and supportive housing programs.
