Did you know? Toll Brothers has completed 3 shelter projects, helping us make an investment of more than $1 million in housing for the homeless?

These projects gave more than 2,000 homeless people a new start by increasing the capacity of homelessness service providers to offer much-need programs and services – many more people will continue to benefit from their long-lasting work.

Pictured at the left is the dedication ceremony for one of the projects completed by Toll Brothers that has had a significant impact in the Loudoun County community – the build-out of a thrift store, which helps to support the Good Shepherd Alliance’s work, as well as much-needed office space for their staff.

Toll Brothers generously took on the complete renovation of a warehouse that since 2011, has served as the location of the Women Giving Back (WGB) Store, a HomeAid Northern Virginia program which provides clothing and accessories free-of-charge to women and children in crisis.

The renovation of the WGB Store has made a difference in thousands of lives every year!

Toll Brothers’ commitment to giving back to the community and support of our mission of housing the homeless has extended beyond their participation in our projects. In 2014, Toll Brothers donated hundreds of model home appliances to HomeAid Northern Virginia. The sale of these appliances raised more than $100,000 in support of our programs and operations.
We are grateful to Toll Brothers for their strong commitment to HomeAid, to our community, and to providing homes for the thousands of Northern Virginia families for whom homelessness is a daily struggle. For their exceptional dedication, Bill Gilligan, regional president of Toll Brothers, was recognized as the recipient of our 2010 Presidents’ Award.  THANK YOU!
