NOVACO helps homeless victims of domestic abuse become secure and self-sufficient by providing housing, education, childcare counseling and mentoring.
“A mother and her children, victims of domestic abuse, were selected to move into this newly renovated apartment in Fairfax County thanks to Winchester Homes and its trade partners,” said Pat Richter, Vice President of the board of the Northern Virginia Coalition (NOVACO).
“We were pleased to assist NOVACO and help a homeless family find a new place to live,” said Brian Phebus , Builder Captain for Winchester Homes, Inc. Winchester Homes, its trade partners, and HomeAid covered the entire cost of the project estimated at more than $13,000.
