HomeAid Northern Virginia and Builder Captain Beazer Homes recently completed a $20,000 kitchen replacement and upgrade for the Loudoun Abused Women’s Shelter (LAWS), a private nonprofit in Loudoun County, Va., that provides emergency housing support and advocacy for women and children who are survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault and child abuse.
The cost of the project was covered in its entirety, thanks to donations by Beazer and its trade partners and a grant from the United Way of the National Capital Area.
Beazer Homes has a long history with HomeAid: Don Knutson, president of Beazer’s Virginia operations, was one of HomeAid Northern Virginia’s founding members, and the homebuilding company has served as a Builder Captain eight times.
If your organization serves individuals or families affected by homelessness and has housing or program space that is in need of extensive renovations or you have a bigger construction vision for the future, HomeAid can help!
Serving as a Builder Captain may be one of the most satisfying construction projects you, your partners, and your staff will ever experience.
Trade Partners are the backbone of our accomplishments! Each HomeAid project relies on the generosity, expertise, and commitment of many partners working together.
