“About half of our budget is spent on maintaining our 75 units so the value to us is immense, we could not have done this ourselves,” said Christopher Fay, Executive Director of Homestretch, about the renovation of a large townhome in Centreville by Creekstone Communities that saved Homestretch about $45,000. “This means the start of a whole new life for the family moving in. We put them in a nice house in a nice community and this is really beautiful.”
“We wanted to help our community in this economy, to help people get back on their feet,” said Anthony Smith, Vice President, Production, Creekstone Communities. “This was our first HomeAid Northern Virginia project and we would like to do it again.”If your organization serves individuals or families affected by homelessness and has housing or program space that is in need of extensive renovations or you have a bigger construction vision for the future, HomeAid can help!
