Did you know that K. Hovnanian Homes has completed 4 shelter projects, helping us make an investment of more than $1 million in housing for the homeless? |

K. Hovnanian Homes gave 120 homeless people a new start by providing a safe and stable place to live – and many more will continue to benefit from their work. |
K. Hovnanian Homes’ most recent HomeAid project increased the capacity of Northern Virginia Family Services’ (NVFS) SERVE Shelter by 50% and created new space for program staff to offer educational classes and other training. This project saved NVFS more than $500,000 – money that went back into the many different services and programs that help their clients get back on their feet. | ||
“[We participate in HomeAid projects] … most of all … because our people get energized by it. As an organization, from the top down, we all feel that we get as much as we give, and it gives all of us a huge energy boost. It’s exciting to know that we’re making such a big difference to so many.” -Pete Thompson, group president, K. Hovnanian Homes |

We are so proud to have partners like K. Hovnanian Homes who continue to support us through projects and representation on our Board of Directors (Pete Thompson) – without their efforts, we would not be able to continue our mission – building new lives for the homeless through housing and community outreach. THANK YOU, K. Hovnanian Homes! |
